Specialists/collaborators reviews

Guitarist David Torn is known by his great collaborative albums with different leading jazz and rock musicians. This album is released by trio with bassist Mick Karn and drummer Terri Bozzio. The trio recorded this only studio album, but what a release it is!

Three very competent musicians play in common almost twenty instruments there on this recording, but main sound accents are repetitive bass constructions and ambient electric guitar screams/noodling.Album atmosphere is dark, liquid, hypnotic and emotionally influential. Possibly some can find this music a bit repetitive, but very diverse drumming, vital guitar and bass pulsation will hardly make you feel bored.

Possibly not the album for everyone's taste, but for those with love to experimental guitar fusion with complex rhythmical constructions and dark ambient atmosphere, this album is first class release.
