Score+audio for a Fossils and Flows, from the album Forget The Pixel
By the Michael Dessen Trio, released on Clean Feed Records, 2011.
Featuring:
Michael Dessen - trombone/electronics/composition
Christopher Tordini - bass
Dan Weiss - drums

This is music composed for improvisers. I decided to start making a few of these videos because people often assume we are just improvising everything, and ask questions about how much is notated and how much is improvised. The video highlights the parts of the score that we're improvising with in each section.
