Most AHVAK members met through a prog-rock internet forum in Israel. They started rehearsing, but did not work seriously until drummer / songwriter Dave Kerman (5UU'S, thinking PRAGUE, U-totem, GIFT, etc) came to Israel and joined the band. His debut album was released on Cuneiform Records in the US and has some very complimentary comments.
His first album is RIO (Rock in Opposition), influenced by modernist music (Stravinsky, Bartok) and high production values at Bob Drake's school. Since Kerman returned to the US, the band had to find a new drummer and rehearse for the live shows. They plan to record a second album.
