Rodrigo Domínguez is one of the most active and influential musicians of the vibrant jazz scene in Buenos Aires. He was elected by the specialized press Argentina Best Saxophonist of the Year on several occasions.
He has studied and performed with the most prestigious local artists, and has also taken classes and participated in workshops and jam sessions (both Argentina and the United States) with Wayne Shorter, Jerry Bergonzi, Chris Cheek, Chris Potter, Tony Malaby, Barry Altschul, Perico Sambeat, Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock, Hermeto Pascoal, Marc Copland, Hal Crook, Tony Miceli, John Hébert, Angie Sanchez, David Xirgu, John Hollembeck, Mark Helias and Mass Kamaguchi, among others. In addition, Rodrigo has been awarded a scholarship by Berklee College of Music to study in the United States.
