MAAD picture
A band based in Milan and including Italian and American musicians, Maad were another of those bands (like I.P.Son Group) trying to mix together jazz-rock and African-American music.

Some of the musicians involved were founder members of the L'Orchestra label, but the album was released on a different label, Divergo. The album also included a guest appearance by sax player Renato Rivolta, who had collaborated with Stormy Six and Come le Foglie (that also had Attilio Zanchi among their founder members).

Attilio Zanchi has remained in the professional jazz circuit. He is still considered one of the best Italian upright bass players.
