James Lent earned his Doctorate of Musical Arts Degree in Concert Piano Performance from Yale University. Dr. Lent’s diverse performance of classical, broadway, jazz, pop, and vocal collaborations, concertos and solos are a noteworthy delight for any guests of event or occasion! James currently serves at the UCLA School of Music and has served on he summer faculty a the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara. He had the honor of coaching Actor Woody Harrelson’s for the film “Seven Pounds” in which Mr. Harrelson portrays a blind pianist. Dr. Lent’s successful performances have lead to his reputation as a sought after performance and vocal coach at his private studio located in the beautiful and historic Echo Park near downtown Los Angeles.
