Born in Bolivia, raised in Brazil. Ibelisse has studied eighteen years of Classical piano and ten years contemporary dance, before graduating and receiving her Bachelor in Performance at the Superior School of Arts in Amsterdam on 2006. Since then she has realised various projects and has been part of a number of collaborations, integrating her interdisciplinary and shapeshifting qualities as performer, musician, vocalist, composer, physical player and maker, with a.o. Schweigman&, Boogaert/VanderSchoot, Mime Theatergroep Bambie, Nineties Productions, Amenti Company, Nicole Beutler projects, de Veenfabriek, Ulrike Quade Company, The Paper Ensemble, Sarah Vanhee, Germaine Kruip, Stichting dOeK.
She has develop a number of visual and sound performances and played in all continents, among others Busan Biennale - South Korea, Savina Museum - Seoul, South Korea, Geoje Arts Center - South Korea, Museum of Contemporary Art Hiroshima, Tokyo
