Gjermund leader 'Clapton Pop and Jazz School', and is a graduate of jazz studies at the Music Conservatory in Stavanger. Have 5 years of completed study in education, performance and composition. As a musician he has played, among other things, Knut Kristiansen, Birger Shulsbruch, Wayne Brasel, Sigvart Dagsland, Frode Allnæs, Thu Ytterdal, Thomas Dahl, Karianne Arntzen, Elin Furubotn, Jan Howard, and others He has published in spring 2011 trio disc Existence of Gjermund Sivertsen trio

As a piano teacher, he has a lot of experience, working with their students as a coach. This means that his students set their own goals for how much he / she will learn / practice, and get good follow-up weekly.
