Debbie Orta’s voice and stage presence have been described as “enchanting”, “connecting”, “mesmerizing”, and “enthralling”. Debbie delivers her interpretation of poignant ballads, sultry bossa novas, and hard-swinging standards from the greatest songbook of all time; songs by Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Johnny Mercer and other great composers from the 1920’s to the 1960’s, with some contemporary songs to add a surprise element to mix. She has emerged as a fixture on the South Florida jazz scene and recently finished recording her debut CD for national release, entitled, “Child’s Play”, destined to become a favorite of jazz fans.
