The world-famous Moroccan percussionist Rhani Krija and the Swedish pianist Jacob Karlzon may come from different cultural backgrounds, but they are on the same wavelength both personally and musically. Karlzon elicits incredible melodies full of melancholy and tenderness as well as jazzy improvisations from his grand piano, while Krija takes his musical thoughts and spins them out on his various percussion instruments. The result is a lively, highly musical dialog. This evening promises to be a musical treat!
Karlzon is known for his collaboration with all the world's jazz greats and is very successful with his trio and duo with Victoria Tolstoy (ACT Music). Krija regularly performs with greats such as Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Al Di Meola, Sting and Herbert Grönemeyer.
