Emmalisa Hallander is Sweden's latest shooting star of vocal jazz. In the past year the 24-year old vocalist has performed at Fasching in her own name, toured with Peter Asplund, sung with Stockholm Jazz Orchestra, received scholarships from Faschings Vänner, KMA and ‘Sverker och Birgittas Stipendiefond’, made a name for herself on the jazz scene and produced and released her debut album, ’Have a Look Inside’. The album was released in March 2023 on the Swedish label Varva Records and has been very well-received by listeners and press.
