Embarking on an exciting new chapter, Nubiyan Twist release brand new single ‘So Mi Stay’ and welcome Sheffield-based artist Aziza Jaye to the forefront, adding a fresh dimension of Patois and RnB vocals to their sound.
“So Mi Stay is like jazz and dancehall locking arms on the dancefloor. The song is about being out dancing and getting lost in your zone. The party is about to end, the lights turn on but you’re still lost in the music”. (Aziza Jaye)
The music video’s director Alex Orosa says
“From an early stage the band were very keen to incorporate a dance performance into the video and we couldn’t have found a more perfect fit than Charlie Roberts, whose joyous improvisatory style matched the tone of the song perfectly. To reflect the song's energy as well as its vibrant artwork, we placed each band member on a platform and spun the camera around them, all within a large orange cylinder to create a sort of 360 degree infinity room. What really brought the video to life was the band’s performances and their enthusiasm and infectious love for the song."
