Nia Lynn is one of the UK’s preeminent vocalists and songwriters whose highly personal and emotional talent focuses on body and breath, text and voice, interpretation and improvisation. She possesses a dynamic vocal range which enables her to sing everything from poignant, self-penned originals to counterpointing angular melodies alongside some of the most advanced instrumentalists on the scene. Known as a ‘musician’s vocalist’, Lynn studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, earning a degree in in Jazz Voice (1999-2003) and has since enjoyed a fruitful career as an active member on the contemporary European music scene. She’s also become a leading member of the voice community and a specialist within her field as a vocal coach and educator.
