A Massachusetts native and graduate of both Harvard and Berklee, Kyle has established himself as a noteworthy saxophonist and composer in NYC. He has played at many venues in the New York and Boston areas, including the Blue Note, Iridium, Cornelia Street Cafe, Wally's and the Beehive and has toured in the U.S. and South America. From 2011-2014, his quintet sharpened its aesthetic, playing a weekly residency at Brooklyn's 5th Estate. Kyle has shared the stage with jazz luminaries such as Jim Hall, Hank Jones, Joe Lovano, Dave Douglas and Ben Monder, among others. In addition to assimilating more traditional jazz language and repertoire, Kyle has immersed himself in the study of classical composition.
