Chris Clark is a Boston-based saxophonist, composer, and instructor. Equally comfortable performing in a wide variety of musical settings ranging from modern jazz and free improvisation to straight-ahead styles, he has established himself as a versatile and unique player within the realm of creative music. His debut album, Cedar Wisely, was released in March of 2013 on Vancouver-based label Songlines Recordings, alongside albums from notable jazz artists such as Bill Frisell, Dave Douglas, James Carney, and Tony Malaby. Chris has performed extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest and the Reno/Lake Tahoe area with his own ensembles and as a sideman, and since relocating to the East Coast has quickly begun to build a presence in the Boston and NYC music scenes.
