Adam Kromelow is a pianist/composer/teacher who has performed at major venues in cities such as Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Beijing, Shanghai, and Seoul. From 2003-2007 Adam attended New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois where he played in the jazz ensemble and wind ensemble. During this time Adam also composed the score and conducted the pit orchestra for the student-run variety show Lagniappe Potpourri. In his last year of high school, Adam was selected as the only pianist to perform in the Illinois all-state jazz combo, the highest honor in the state. Adam has received numerous awards including the IMEA outstanding soloist award, the Downbeat Magazine award for outstanding jazz performance, and the Manhattan School of Music President's award.
Recently, Adam made his debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as a guest soloist for their Welcome Yule concerts at Chicago’s Symphony Hall. In addition, Adam was selected by pianist Brad
