I like his 60's stuff.......thats what mum played
First up "Send me the Pillow that you Dream On", "Little Ole Wine Drinker me" and "Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime"
Does any one rememder the telly show in the sixties with Dino, his drink in one hand and fag in the other. It was good
'Everybody Loves Somebody" was the the theme parctically as he was always singing it off and on. |

I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

One of the most impressive RPI albums ever released. A beautiful fusion
of classical, rock and jazz. Not a tonne of jazz, mind, but the strength
of this, aside from the violin, is of course, the wonderful Italian
language vocals.
Stuff it - no need to single stuff out, it's all good. |

Marcus Miller and Bootsy Collins on the same album, bass playing doesn't get much better than those two.

I think Marcus Miller is only on one song (which is a 10 minute song, and he has a nasty solo spot). Bootsy is only on one or two tracks-very P-Funk-esque. There's like 20 songs (double album). Still, Victor is the man on this one. |
