No John, only really know Shaft but let me know what is the goodie Big smile Barry is great while I have it on, haven't played it in years.Cool
"Live at the Tahoe Sahara" has a great long version of "Walk on By", sort of the Inna Godda Davida of lounge psychedelia.
"Hot Buttered Soul" and "Chocolate Chip" are good too if I remember correctly..
True story: I had some neighbors in Houston in an apt complex with thin walls and they would put on the Barry White and then have weird SM sessions with lots of  moaning and such LOL every time the Barry White would come on, I knew what was next. Ermm

^ Still classic Tinariwen, but almost 100% acoustic, so far not so explosive as their early releases. First half of the album (there are some guests on few songs) works well, later music becomes a bit monotonous and boring. I listened to UK Limited Edition ,with bonus 4-tracks CD, doesn't add much though.

From great side the music in whole still have that "dusty desert" atmosphere - no overdubs or other studio tricks, recorded somewhere on site in Algerie ...

Hi Sean,

It took me a few years to get it, as I did collect others first, much as you have (I love Lifemask too, and isn't Stormcock a work of art!) and took a while to warm to this. It's not as immediate as some of his others, but the standouts are fantastic. Like the biting 'I Hate the White Man.' 'How Does it Feel' is greta too, or the wonderful 'Davey'. Especially interesting is 'Hell's Angels' - the most electric-ish track on the album.

Worth buying one day, just not a brilliant track for track album like Stormcock

I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

An Aussie Country icon. He used to sit at the end of every gig and talk, photos and sign anything to or for anybody and sometimes were talking a 100 people.First up "Leave Him In The Long Yard", dedicated to my wife who I told the other week to quit work and take it easy. "She's seen a hundred musters I think its only fair we leave her the long yard, here today"

Slim Dusty. No. 50. The Golden Anniversary Album.

Ah yes, the days when air travel was an exotic treat for jet setters,  ..."coffee, tea or me".
