Don't start with the newest one, you will be highly disappointed I afraid Wink. There is just electro-pop on it

the only Squarepusher I have is Hard Normal Daddy. It's a pretty neat record. Kinda sounds like electronic music with Jaco-esque bass playing. I'm sure it's more than that, it's been a while since I threw that one on.

I've only heard that and Go Plastic, which is pretty much pure drum & bass (drill & bass?) but I prefer it.

I don't like that album because the drums sound like Soundblaster midi

I heard tracks from Money Jungle on the Youtubes, so I know of the excellences.

There will be n00bs to look down to Tongue

Big Fun is really nice. And it reminds me of the "European Jazz" thread - if you take out the rhythm, what's left is ECM jazz. I'm sure Miles' fusion was one of the most important influence on Europeans, if not THE influence.

EDIT: I hear a lot of nu-jazz in this too.

About Squarepusher - I have to listen to it again...

I have seen "Miles Davis - Big Fun" so much in the last week or so, It is finally time for me to listen to that! (it's getting dark outside too, which is perfect)

Listening to Time Out right now (I know, so unoriginal) and love a comment a Youtuber made on this video:
