That would make sense.
Also, please no "swing room". I don't know if jazzers are aware of this, but "swinging" is also famous in our times for being a particular sexual practice that I don't really care for.

I don't even have anyone to "swing" with.

But since this is a jazz site, wouldn't most people associate it with swing and not swinging?

this is a good way for me to get more into jazz, maybe I should buy some old old school Louis Armstrong and Duke Elington just to start at the beginning

Maybe we should compromise and choose a different but still funny titled genre. How about The Dixie Room? And we'd be dixies.

In honour of JMA I am now listening to my favourite jazz album. I'm adding it now so I can rate it. You'll soon see what it is.

Listening to some Joćo Gilberto, and Keith Jarrett's Changeless is next.

It's innovative music, but not that great.
Have you heard the Jakszyk Fripp Collins video yet?

The #1 Admin here is quite centre-left oriented in his political views, so we could have a show in that libertarian thread.

Why not? I migrated my metal reviews from PA to MMA. Thing is I have like 4 jazz reviews and their all prog-based, so I need to re-write them

Yes, if you edit them a bit (like deleting discussions about how prog the music is, mentions of PA, etc.)
Posted By: darkshade

I copy-pasted my review of Hiromi - "Time Control" from PA. I don't know how often I'll do this, I like starting fresh; especially considering this is a JAZZ site

Nice!
I looked a bit over the Nu-Jazz section and the genre chart is based almost exclusively on my ratings (except for the EST ratings you gave).

Crossings should get 5 stars.
And I Sing the Body Electric probably 4.5 stars.
Sextant is too inconsistent for my taste, and the Weather Report debut might get an extra 0.5.
