Peter Knight (Australian Trumpet player)

Hi. New to the forum - jumped over from PA and wanted to see what you thought about Peter Knight.

Can play traditional jazz, though he is also works in nu-jazz I suppose. I like his work as a leader when fusing east & west, such as when he plays with 'Way Out West' in the 'Old Grooves for New Streets' album for example.

Actually, now that I've suggested him, maybe I ought to suggest Way Out West too! (will do a search in a sec in case they are already here)

Outstanding! I'll also work on a review for Old Grooves.. (listening to it now) and might even end up getting to that before Peter's solo stuff, as I'm quite enamoured of the album at the moment.
