1. A Love Supreme
2. Africa/Brass Sessions
3. Live At The Village Vanguard
4. Ole
5. Impressions

....I think.  Damn, that's tough.
That shows you the power of music, that magician of magician, who lifts his wand, says his mysterious word and all things real pass away and the phantoms of your mind walk before you clothed in flesh.

1. My Favorite Things
2. A Love Supreme
3. Giant Steps
4. Coltrane ('62)
5. Coltrane's Sound

The last 2 can vary, it can also be Africa/Brass, Ole Coltrane, Traneing In, among other great ones.

I had had the experience of talking a little with sax player active in Japan before. It will : later about live.

He said to me that he loved Coltrane and had all albums.
And, he declared, the most overwhelming album in the album group of Coltrane was "Expression".

I am groping for the meaning of the album and thought that reaches it at last.

in no real order....

1. Giant Steps
2. A Love Supreme
3. Blue Train
4. My Favorite Things
5. Soultrane

I'm not an expert on his post-'65 albums

I do have One Down One Up: Live at The Half Note, which is some fantastic live work by the Trane

1. Ascension
2. A Love Supreme
3. Giant Steps
4. Blue Train
5. Stardust

I have to give this some more thought, but after only recently getting Ole it's definitely shot up the list
