Dead & Company have announced three concerts to celebrate the Grateful Dead’s 60th anniversary. The shows will take place at Golden Gate Park’s Polo Fields on Friday, August 1; Saturday, August 2; and Sunday, August 3. Support on the first night comes from Billy Strings; the second show features opener Sturgill Simpson (billed as Sturgill “Johnny Blue Skies” Simpson); and Trey Anastasio Band are opening the Sunday night concert. The opening sets will be up to 75 minutes long, according to a press release.

Dead & Company—featuring John Mayer with former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and others—recently wrapped up their residency at the Las Vegas Sphere. The band has not performed in San Francisco since 2023.

Grateful Dead will continue their anniversary celebrations with a massive box set that’s out on May 30.
