The shows will take place at Golden Gate Park’s Polo Fields on Friday, August 1; Saturday, August 2; and Sunday, August 3. Support on the first night comes from  https://pitchfork.com/artists/billy-strings/" rel="nofollow - Billy Strings ; the second show features opener  https://pitchfork.com/artists/32293-sturgill-simpson/" rel="nofollow - Sturgill Simpson  (billed as Sturgill “ https://pitchfork.com/artists/johnny-blue-skies/" rel="nofollow - Johnny Blue Skies ” Simpson); and Trey Anastasio Band are opening the Sunday night concert. The opening sets will be up to 75 minutes long, according to a press release.

Dead & Company—featuring John Mayer with former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and others—recently wrapped up their  https://pitchfork.com/news/dead-and-company-announce-2025-las-vegas-sphere-residency/" rel="nofollow - residency  at the Las Vegas Sphere. The band has not  https://pitchfork.com/news/dead-and-company-detail-final-tour-with-2023-concert-dates/" rel="nofollow - performed  in San Francisco since 2023.
