After a year of production, my bro's band, La Costa, finally release their videoclip. The band is mainly funk rock with rap.

They're a fun band, listening to them live is another thing though. There's more energy to it. This is one of the bands that made me fond of hip hop last year or so. Not my favorite band my brother has been, but it's still great. This one is a fave of mine, with the keyboard solo at the end:

Yeah, I like that style of rap, it has a classic late 80s sound to it. There's a thread around here somewhere with lnks to some of my favorite rap songs, but I'm too lazy to look for it.

Yeah, I made that thread! You suggested me some classic 80s stuff where James Brown-esque funk is predominant as samples. Great stuff.

And if you don't mind, here's something my bro did, it's pretty soft.

That sounds nice, I used to listen to a lot of down tempo stuff back in the mid-90s to late 90s, I still have a lot of the CDs and mix tapes.

^yeah, I like the first one better, it's a nice mix of modern jazz with some electronica influences and argentine folklore music.
The second sounded more prog-like in some tunes, not that that's bad he, but seemed less jazzy. Still, the title track is a lovely acoustic tune.

I like the first one better too, but the second one gets into some interesting things on the later cuts.

I love this period of Coltrane. Wynton Kelly on piano is a nice and more groovy/bluesy pianist than McCoy, which sometimes I prefer to the later's frenetic soloing.
