I'm glad someone else posted. It was turning into "What is Mike Listening To?"

Glad I helped inspire you to throw on RW. Just your faves??

That Billy Cobham is a hard album to come across, but it's a great jazz-funk record, and showcases the talents of a young John Scofield, and The Brecker Brothers.

Yep my faves just! Sorceress, title track and Majestic Dance. Fun listen. I've reached the conclusion that Sorceress is like a lost Hancock composition with guitar, hehe, but in a good way.

That Cobham is fun funk jazz specifically because of The Brecker Brothers and Scofield. Moody Modes, however, is a total delight from the keyboardist.

^ How about this album? I have heard "Power Spot" before. It was good. Fusion such as ambient and the electronic music. I knew that Jon Hassell performed the performance that the album of David Sylvian and Talking Heads was enough for in the 80s.

^  I have a few of his albums and that's my favorite so far.  As would figure Power Spot isn't one of them.
