Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
Facelift has grown on me a lot, still my least fave off the album, but some great parts.

I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ... Ken Burns

You don't have Acid Fantastic album. I reviewed it early days here. I might go Ray Barretto crazy later today or tomorrow. As usual kids are here soon. This guy is Columbian I am about to put on. Only got it the other day and heard it once. Impressive stuff.

Most of the Afro-Cuban jazz I have is on unmarked cassettes recorded off of radio shows. When I listen to artists you recommend I hear all of this familiar material and very familiar singing voices too. One of the boogaloo artists you recommended in particular had a very familiar sound, but unless I have a recording of the DJ announcing the artist on my tapes, I never know who I am listening to on my tapes.

I couldn't stand it You know I would be beside myself I used to listen to a Latin show here but if they were not playing Contempary Latin rock or pop, Jazz or Salsa/Son. Those folk groups from the Andes or some of the Mexican............dunno.
