Been listening to alot of post-rock, need to put on some jazz sometime soon. |
You should check out some nu jazz bands, many have post-rock influences.
Maybe you already know Jagga Jazzist, nice music. |
I like most of the nu jazz I've heard, especially Pink Freud and Iordache but haven't really delved deeply into the genre. I have streamed Jaga Jazzist once but haven't really listened to them much. I'll have to do that.

That shows you the power of music, that magician of magician, who lifts his wand, says his mysterious word and all things real pass away and the phantoms of your mind walk before you clothed in flesh.

I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ... Ken Burns

My youngest daughter is 21 today ( Big thing in Aus.) and she has my wife and I busy and if my wife is busy, you can bet I will be too . Dinner tonight, Party Saturday, my daughter wants the works and why not. I have a few mates of my own coming on Saturday night, at least that will keep me happy . One thing though even when they have me working, mowing, moving sh*t, going to the city today and other allocated jobs the music is usually on
Alfredo is back with his awesome violin on this one

^ that looks like a good album. I also like the photo of Gabor riding his scooter and playing his sitar ...and showing off for the mod girl.
