I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

Standard Gargoyle Decisions - Robert Pollard

Listened to this once and liked it but somehow I never came back to it.

I think Marcus Miller is only on one song (which is a 10 minute song, and he has a nasty solo spot). Bootsy is only on one or two tracks-very P-Funk-esque. There's like 20 songs (double album). Still, Victor is the man on this one.

One of the most impressive RPI albums ever released. A beautiful fusion of classical, rock and jazz. Not a tonne of jazz, mind, but the strength of this, aside from the violin, is of course, the wonderful Italian language vocals.

Stuff it - no need to single stuff out, it's all good.

Merzbient - Merzbow

Some of the coolest noise music I've ever heard.
