Just noticed when I posted my review that this seminal album is mis-listed as boxset/compilation when it is actually one of the most influential albums in all of jazz. Just lettin' you know...

i think in the album release info, it should be mentioned that it was recorded in 1949 and 1950, over 7 years before its release

maybe there should be an option to list the recording dates, as many jazz recordings were recorded long before their release

I agree with you, that is good info to list. There is a section called 'About this Release' where things like that can be noted. Let me know if you can't add it yourself and I will get it.
