The SFJAZZ Collective is releasing a new, limited-edition album, Music of Michael Jackson and New Compositions—Live at SFJAZZ Center, on March 4. The two-disc live CD, recorded at San Francisco’s SFJAZZ Center last October, features new arrangements of Michael Jackson classics such as "Thriller," "Smooth Criminal," "Human Nature" and more, as well as eight new original compositions by the band. A 22-page booklet contains photos, interviews and commentary from the band.

The lineup for this edition of SFJAZZ Collective is Miguel Zenón: alto saxophone; David Sánchez: tenor saxophone; Sean Jones: trumpet; Robin Eubanks: trombone; Warren Wolf: vibraphone; Edward Simon: piano; Matt Penman: bass; Obed Calvaire: drums.
