Carnegie Hall Announces 2016-2017 Jazz Programming


Madeleine Peyroux, Donny McCaslin among scheduled performers

New York’s Carnegie Hall has announced programming for its 2016-2017 season. Among the scheduled performances are these falling under the jazz banner. All of these concerts take place at the venue’s Zankel Hall.

• Michael Feinstein returns as artistic director of his three-concert “Standard Time with Michael Feinstein” series, performing alongside special guest artists. (Oct. 19, 2016; Feb. 22 and March 21, 2017) 

• Guitarist Pat Martino and his trio—organist Pat Bianchi and drummer Carmen Intorre, Jr.— saxophonist Adam Niewood and trumpeter Alex Norris. (Nov. 4, 2016) 

• Singer-songwriter Madeleine Peyroux performs as part of the WFUV Live at Zankel lineup. (Nov. 5, 2016)

• New Orleans trumpeter and composer Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah. (Mar. 11, 2017)

• Saxophonist Donny McCaslin and his electro-acoustic quartet. (Apr. 1, 2017)
