Johnny Pacheco...........actual co-founder of the label

Bobby Valentin

Willie  Rosario

Lebron Brothers

Louie Ramirez

Ricardo Ray

Roberto Roena

Sonero Poncena

These were on Sar label

Fernando Lavoy

Alfredo De La Fe........Sar early buts heaps of labels after.

And some others

Nicholas Menheim & le Super Sabadar

Lots of others still.  Nicholas Menheim is from Senegal but  is pure afro cuban son based. Actually one of my all time favourites form this genre " Commandante Che Guevara" is the title.   Africando actually, menheim is with them now are an African,Latin combo doing Afro Cuban material. They have been around a while now.

No problemo,   ...not finished with the list yet.
I love Afro-Cuban piano, I used to play in a Latin rock band and I got to try out some montuno licks on a few tunes. I'd like to think I did OK, maybe not, ha ha.

Thanks John, ......ah hah, caught out Music Brainz.  Put him in  another day. Takes a while to do bio's for me with all the double checking etc. You know I have seem Wiki with omissions and in one case plain wrong. I don't trust it.Geek My wife calls me a walking catalogue Ermm

Looks like Slava is going to add Meinheim.
You do seem to know a lot of music, I suspect you are actually 3 people.

Added. There wouldn't be bio or discog imported, we could add them directly there on JMA.

Thanks Slava..I will do the bio if you like but it will take me away from reviewing for a short while. I know that we need heaps of  them. Actually really enjoying them. Never have I done so many Smile It is the diversity of course. Afro Cuban one day, Dub Fusion the next. Ekstasis is the project today hoping to get it finished before the kids arriveSmile

It's up to you - we have plenty of artists without bios there, one day we will need bios for them all. Not a problem at all if one more artist will stay "bio-less" for a while.Smile
