I like mostly every jazz starting from be-bop, right now I'm more on free jazz or avant-garde jazz, I'm little bored of cacophonic cold free jazz like Evan Parker, Roscoe Michell, Peter Brotzmann, I'm searching for free jazz with more subtility like Eric Dolphy, Pharoah Sanders, John Coltrane last recordings. Or any recent Jazz albums, with a fresh and innovative sound !

I've been enjoying pianist Craig Taborn's new album. Very fresh and different, sort of avant-garde in places, but mostly very original. Thinking of the sax players you named up there, maybe you would like Henry Threadgill, especially some of his late 80s-90s stuff with his Mingus type ensembles.

You might also like Ornette Coleman from late 50s to early 70s, but maybe you already know him. Some of his later work in the 80s gets into a very unique take on fusion.

some early Archie Shepp albums could be of your interest I expect from modern albums, I can think about Matana Roberts two excellent releases (Coin Coin Chapter One & Two) for more orchestrated music, Swedish Fire!Orchestra does some nice things |

The "Clean Feed" label out of Portugal puts out a lot of stuff like that and is worthy of investigation.I'll recommend a recent one: Wire Quartet's S/t. ------------- Hit it on Five. Saxophone Scatterbrain Blitzberg Stab them in the ears. |

| Thanks for the suggestion, I discovered one nice artist "Rodrigo Amado" from Clean Feed Records, good avant-garde music not cacophonic and a nice tenor sound ;) |
