Bulgarian flutist Simeon Shterev (Симеон Щерев), 1943-2020, for Jazz Fusion/Hard, Post Bop.
He
is one of the most prominent jazz musician in the fairly repressed
Bulgarian music scene, maybe on the same level as Milcho Leviev, but as
he did not emigrate (escape), he had much less success and recognition.
His only album as leader (1978) is considered one of the best jazz records
from the socialist era in Bulgaria. Beside jazz, he has many music
composed for film and theatre.
