:) Very interesting record, double CD.
Max Roach is continuing exploration of sound and feel he first explored on "It's Time" from 1962. Soul, choir singing, blues, avantgarde... all in one.
Production is also futuristic on most pieces.

Yes, Max was way ahead of his time. Much of what he was doing 50 years ago is what people are doing today.
