iordache (with lower case i) is Mihai Iordache plus band and sometimes just solo sax. He's easily the most important Romanian jazz musician of the last decade.

He has two studio albums. Here are a couple from the second and his best one, dissipatin':

Great Nu-Jazz if you ask me.

His other, previous studio album, Friday, can be downloaded / streamed for free here: http://iordache.bandcamp.com/album/friday-featuring-tom-smith" rel="nofollow - http://iordache.bandcamp.com/album/friday-featuring-tom-smith I'd classify it as post-bop/fusion or something like that.

His other releases (most of them available for free on Bandcamp) are live and range from his early Sun-Ra inspired period to more recent sax-guitar duo improvisations over the tunes from the studio albums.

It's strange seeing him in Avant.

His msic is extremely varied, AG seemed to cover the most bases.
We genre tag by album, so if you know his music you could recommend to a collab which genre tags should go with which albums.
