I'm a newbie to the site, but have been a jazz fan for several years. Great resource here, lots of fun...

I find my tastes lean primarily toward souljazz and jazzfunk from the 1960's and 1970's, although I enjoy a good bop record when I'm in the mood. There's some great contemporary jazz records out there too.3 Organ and guitar are the instruments that really turn me on

Some of my favorite older artists

Roy Ayers
O'donel Levy
Caldera
McCoy Tyner
Kenny Burrell
Richard "Groove" Holmes
Grant Green
Charles Earland
Chick Corea

And Newer

Ximo Tebar
Joey DeFrancesco
Charlie Hunter
Jaga Jazzist
Bill Frisell
The Bad Plus
Victor Wooten
Will Bernard
Simak Dialog

Happy listening everybody!

Hey Rokukai, welcome again!

Since you're an organ fan, you'd no doubt be a fan of one of my favourite organ-based albums? Jimmy's 'Root Down'?

Welcome Wade, I collect B3 soul jazz records, as well as a lot of similar things. Used to be you coul find soul jazz LPs for very cheap, then the whole DJ trend took care of that
