Steven Ellison, better known by his stage name as Flying Lotus, is an experimental electronic DJ from California.  He's well known for incorporating many different elements into his very jazzy brand of electronic, including world music and hip hop, and his newest release Cosmogramma is the best example of this awesome style.  He's also the great-nephew of the late Alice Coltrane and the cousin of post-bop jazz saxophonist Ravi Coltrane, with whom he has collaborated in the past.

I strongly support this addition.

That's Kenny G with Miles Davis on my avatar, by the way.

This is really creative music and I like it a lot, but I didn't hear much jazz in the first three cuts, except some on the first one. I'm going to look around on the internet for more of his music, in the meantime, can you drop off some cuts that show more of his jazz side.

Since Kevin never got back to you, I'll cover for him with what limited knowledge of the artist I have.
