Hi everyone, once again looking for advice. I was just doing some bios for the site and was reminded of Wibutee - and wondered, after I buy 'Sweet Mental' (ordering it soon) I wanted to ask if anyone had an opinion on where to go next in their discography?

Unfortunately don't know much about their earlier albums, just heard some Håkon Kornstad (sax player's) works after Wibutee were disbanded - very different music, mostly avant-garde jazz.

Another Nordic band who could be possibly interesting for Wibutee fans is Danish Ibrahim Electric:

Or if you're interested in Wibutee's reeds sound, you can check Kornstad's albums - some are more Nordic nu jazz than avantgarde, usually reeds+ electronics, or duo with vocalist Sidsel Endersen:
