He uses jazz samples extensively on some of his albums.

Lots of hip-hop artists use jazz samples. We are looking for full-on jazz created by DJs.

His Madlib Medicine Show #7: High Jazz was recorded by a group of jazz musicians.

And #8 is entirely made of jazz samples.

Do you have an easy to access live link where I can hear about 5 songs that are full-on jazz.

Do you have a Grooveshark account? Just type "madlib medicine show jazz" on the search engine.

No, I really prefer youtube clips or myspace pages or something that is equally fast and hassle free.

Madlib is against his music being posted on Youtube and there's no music on his MySpace account.

Nope, he removed most of the youtube stuff due to copyright infringement.

OK, I'll go back to the rate your music page and see if I can find the song samples. It will probably be later though.

You don't need an account to listen albums on Grooveshark. Here are his albums on Grooveshark:  http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/artist/Madlib/11126?src=5" rel="nofollow - http://listen.grooveshark.com/#/artist/Madlib/11126?src=5

Thanks Alex, I'll check that out, I did have an account Grooveshark, I just found them very hard to use, I much prefer Pandora for custom radio stuff.

Some of the DJs we already have are doing things a little more sophisticated than this, but Madlib is close enough, he's in.
