The musicality of "A Go Go" which John Scofield announced in 1997 was the album which established a form of Jam Band definitely with MMW. The musicality developed more, and they announced the album as "MSMW" in 2006.

This announced album is going to do the sound source of the tour of 2006 as an album next month.

Their fan may be interesting.

I listened to this album - really nice one (even if it's not really new recording - comes from 2006 tour). Scofield's guitar gives a lot of energy and flavor to usual MM&W music - excellent combination Smile

Not really blown away by it. MMW's fusion sounds loose, even for their own standards back in the mid-00s.
