Entertainment Cruise Productions has announced the debut of the Contemporary Jazz Cruise, described in a press release as “a luxury full-ship charter featuring a lineup of the greatest jazz artists in contemporary music.” The weeklong cruise, set for Feb. 4-11, 2017, will feature performances by the Pat Metheny Trio, Marcus Miller, Terence Blanchard, Gregory Porter, Dianne Reeves, Joshua Redman, the Robert Glasper Trio, Chucho Valdes, The Bad Plus, Lalah Hathaway and Candy Dulfer’s Band Europa. The cruise will also feature comedian Alonzo Bodden, with additional performers to be added shortly. The cruise departs from Ft Lauderdale, Fla., and travels to the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Haiti aboard the Celebrity Summit.

Fares start at $2250 per person and include tickets to all concerts, all meals, special events throughout the voyage and all port charges. Cabins may be booked at The Contemporary Cruise or by calling 888-852-9987.
