i dont think it's necessary for us to have a classicalmusicarchives.com there is already so much information out there about classical. Also, how would artists pages look? Album collections of 20th century musicians playing the music of Beethoven, Bach, etc... and consider that no 2 people consider the same version of a composition the definitive one. That would be too much work; JMA is enough work, at least most jazz is contained in albums.

Album pages could get confusing/absurd, yeah. Maybe they could consider "Composition pages" instead, with a page under each composer for each composition. Reviewers could then state their preferred version of the composition in their review, etc. etc.
