I can't seem to find any. Are there any artists that you know of that I might enjoy?

It depends on what you mean by electronics.

There are several albums out there from the late 60s and early 70s in which avant-garde electronic composers collaborated with jazz musicians, a couple that I have are:
"Time Zones"  - Richard Teitelbaum with Anthony Braxton
"Sing Me a Song of Songmy" - Freddie Hubbard and Ilan Mimarlou (sp?)

Sun Ra is known to use a lot of avant-garde electronics on certain albums. A good one like that is "Atlantis". I have a review up if you want to check it out.

The Herbie Hancock Sextet used a lot of electronics in creating a semi avant-garde fusion on these albums:
"Mwandishi", "Sextant" and "Crossings". There are reviews up for most of those albums.

In the world of modern 'electronica', some of Squarepusher's drumnbass-jazz borders on avant-garde, it just depends on the album.

I'm a huge fan of Sun Ra's Atlantis album and Hancock's Mwandishi-era albums. I think what I'm looking for is a more avant-garde version of Jaga Jazzist-type electronic jazz.

OK, there are at least a couple bands in our Nu Jazz genre that fit that. I'm just trying to remember who is which right now.

E.S.T. I've always found incredibly boring, but I'll try them again soon.

I believe that Esbjorn Svensson is one of the best artists in music. Generally I like some nu jazz artists.

Looking at the list of nu jazz, right off the bat I would recommend Robotobibok, they are like a modern version of the Sextet. They have a spin off group called Mikrokolektyw that is slightly less electronic but good.
Others that I think fit what you are looking for, but I'm not positive are:
Meat Beat Manifesto
Pink Freud
Sex Mob
Supersilent
David Torn
Bugge Wesseltoft  (some, but not all of his music)

Check out Robotobibok though, they are very original.

Thanks, I'm familiar with all but Robotobibok, so I'll definitely check them out. Big smile

Cool, if you like them, check out their spin-off group Mikrokolektyw.

Doesn't sound very jazzy to my ears, but it's still interesting and I like it. Thanks for the suggestion, Alex. Smile

Otomo Yoshihide usually ruins good avant-jazz recordings or concerts with his turntables, does that count?

Flying Lotus makes some amazing jazz and other exotic music with turntables. Not all jazz by any means, but excellent music.
DJ Spooky has also made some very nice avant-garde jazz tracks as well as Koop.

The EP that Colin recommends there is jazzier than the samples he chose.
