James Farm is a group headed by Joshua Redman. I'd say their album lies somewhere between nu jazz and cool jazz, but I'd leave that up to the experts.

The album is here under Redman, but I will check out the genre tag.

Thats not Cool Jazz at all. Check out Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker for some good examples of Cool Jazz.
Although there are a lot of modern elements, probably the best fit for this album is Classic Fusion, its in the Redman discog though.
