Hello, 

I am producing a Radio 4 programme about women in jazz between the wars and we are looking for surviving relatives of female jazz musicians / singers from the very early period of jazz in Britain (1919-1939). 

I know it is a long shot but if anyone fits the bill then please let me know! We would love to have a chat.

	My grandmother played ragtime piano, she was apparently quite good and played large fairs throughout the south. She could not read music and played by ear. I know very little else about her, she died when my dad was born and anyone that knew her has died long ago.

We would love to have her name as it would be interesting to delve a little further to see what we can find out.
