Craft Recordings to Release Seven Exclusive Albums for Record Store Day’s 2019 Black Friday: Craft Recordings has announced seven exclusive vinyl albums for Record Store Day’s 2019 Black Friday event, taking place on Friday, November 29 in independent stores across the U.S. The diverse selection of titles reissued this year includes: Buffy Saint-Marie’s Illuminations (1969); Matt Nathanson’s Some Mad Hope (2007); The Wrens’ Silver (1994); Chet Baker’s (Chet Baker Sings) It Could Happen To You (1958); Willie Colón and Héctor Lavoe’s Asalto Navideño (1970); John Linnell’s State Songs (1994). A new compilation titled Jazz Dispensary: The Dank D-Funk Blend will also be released on the day, featuring rare and funky tracks from the ’60s and the ’70s culled from the Prestige Records catalog by guest curator Doyle Davis, co-owner of Grimey’s Records in Nashville, Tennessee.
