Seconded. Honourable mention to 'Lord of this World.'

I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...

Don Gibson's "I Can't Stop Loving You" , first. I used to hear this song and album just about every Saturday night when I was growing up. Just the album from the set and a few from Vol 2 which just was not the same as the first one. Not as many good ones but still there are some.
Don Gibson also wrote "Oh Lonesone Me" which Neil Young covered, from "After The Gold Rush" . Big Neil also covered Ian Tyson's "Four Strong Winds" that was from "Comes A Time", best song of it. Not one of my fave Neil albums that one. Bit Dreary for me. Some people love it.

Ray Charles: The Complete Country & Western Recordings 1959-1986

Ah, don't forget Ray did some of Hank's here Cool

Then he croaks and leaves his kid son to run the dirt farm.Cry

Whoa, Joe Tex!
Back in the late 70s, I was driving from Dallas to Memphis very late at night when a limo swept by me at about 90 - 100, the rear license plate said J TEX. Cool
