I can get plenty of ACDC  or anything with a fairly hard rock approach down here and there is a famous Aussie band I hate but the rest of the country seems to think they are awesome being Cold Chisel. LOL Aussie culture.

Hahaha! Dunno if I'd go so far as to call AC/DC or CC culture Wink  - no wait, they are, aren't they? Pub rock / Aussie rock is a bit of a way of life fo some folks. I don't dislike either band, but don't have much or their music really. Something lacking in the way of dynamic? Generally ace at rocking out but
That Jimmy Barnes Cry Anyway look who is headling the Bluesfest ,Ashley Wink I will not be going for sureLOL

It's pretty ironic that as time went by, Sun Ra became more down to earth in his music.

Going Aussie. Sony music buggered up the early Aker daker catalogue. They were originally released on Albert Productions. In 1976 after this was released they were heard everywhere. They were packing the pubs. My wife is the big fan here at home. Everytime you got into someones car or called in, good chance this was blasting or if not this one, it would be "TNT" LOL Don't forget I mainly played Dylan in those days Ermm Love em' but it is not good hangover music but not bad before when you are in the condition that gave you the hangover.

First up the last track and the one that made em' "Jailbreak"

In the mid to late 70s used record stores had tons of soul jazz and B3 jazz for cheap, that's when I bought a lot of mine. Used record stores in Memphis still have some of that, and at a price much cheaper than the national market.

CD John. Nearly all my Blue Note stuff is on cd. Bobby's vibes give a christmas feel LOL great album have a few others but the later his stuff gets the worse it gets for me.  That "Understanding" album of his is woeful for me. Like that with Grant Green as well, much prefer his earlier stuff.

Going for a Jimmy now.............going hammond for now

cd unfortunately.

I have to admit those old Blues albums I have been playing sound awesome on vinyl. I have not really played Blues much in years. Now I know why. The cd's just don't cut it next to the records, esp with the harp .......sounds fab and with a slight mud in the sound Thumbs Up

I think the problem with a lot of the fusion music is that it's extremely predictable, it's a rock rhythm and the solos all play the same stuff and they play it over and over again ...
